Oak Beverages, Inc. to move wholesaling operations to The Bronx
The Bronx will soon have another beer distributor on tap. Oak Beverages Inc., a wholesaler of beer, wine and spirits, is closing its two existing warehouses and moving into a new 350,000-square-foot facility in Hunts Point, according to an official with the Soft Drink & Brewery Workers Union Local 812, which represents 200 Oak employees. The new facility will provide more space and better refrigeration than Oak’s existing warehouse in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
