(Chicago, IL) – Louis Glunz Beer, Inc., the 125-year-old craft and specialty import beer distributor is thrilled to continue to bring exceptional new brews to the Chicagoland area. The team is proud to add to their growing list of Midwest breweries with the arrival of O’ So Brewing Company, based in Plover, WI. From the hoppy Lupulin Maximus to the citrusy The Big O, beer lovers throughout the Chicago area can now enjoy seven of the Wisconsin brewery’s unique offerings through Louis Glunz Beer, Inc.
“The decision to expand our distribution to Chicago was exciting and scary at the same time,” says Marc Buttera, owner and brewmaster of O’ So Brewing Company. “By partnering with Louis Glunz Beer, Inc. we are aligning our brand with a true professional in the industry. It was the BEST decision in 2012!”
3rd Wheel (6.5% ABV): This Belgian blonde beer is perfect for the summer months. Brewed with rose hip and infused with Paradise seeds in the firkin, it’s the perfect accompaniment to a warm summer day.
Hop Whoopin (7% ABV): With 95 IBU’s (bitterness units), this insanely hoppy brew has a strong and shocking flavor. The fragrant nose with hints of citrus and pine are a mellow lead into this intensely bitter beer.
Hopdinger (5.50% ABV): With a generous amount of hops, this pale ale keeps a balanced flavor with the help of Munich and Crystal malts. By adding hops after fermentation, the beer receives a strong aroma.
Lupulin Maximus (9% ABV): The Hopdinger may have a generous amount of hops, but the Lupulin Maximus has a seriously ridiculous helping. The biting, hoppy flavor makes it obvious that this is not an average IPA.
Memory Lane (5% ABV): This German Pilsner style beer has all German hops, Munich and Pilsner malts. The crisp palette is perfectly balanced by flavorful hops. Additionally, 5% of the proceeds of every beer sold go to the Alzheimer’s Association of Wisconsin.
The Big O (5.50% ABV): This light beer has a subtly hoppy flavor with soft malt hints. Finished off with notes of orange, this is a great go to brew any time of year.
Night Train (7.2% ABV): This incredibly dark Oatmeal Porter is made with the perfect amounts of crystal and chocolate malts, resulting in a smooth, creamy brew.
