(Chicago, IL) – As some follow-up to last week’s tweets regarding progress with Lagunitas’ Chicago brewery, the founder says that they’ve figured out a tentative plan to make the taproom work. It will be finalized this Friday. He also notes that the initial taproom’s projected opening of April could be pushed back to “maybe June.” See the tweets below.

The thing that hung us up was about fire sprinklering the building. The building is 300,000 sq ft w/50'ceilings. That's 15,000,000 cubic ft!

I want to make the building safe, for sure. But it'll cost nearly as much as the brewhouse itself, so we had to get it right. And we did!

I believe the TapRoom'll b later, maybe June, but the Brewery'll begin bttling/kgging on time in October. It'll be finalized by this Friday.
