Flying Dog Lucky SOB Irish Red Ale six-packs make debut

Flying Dog Lucky SOB Irish Red Ale

(Frederick, MD) – Flying Dog Brewery has released its newest seasonal, Lucky SOB Irish Red Ale, to select markets.

There are a couple firsts for Lucky SOB in 2013. One is six-packs. The other is a new recipe, according to Brewmaster, Matt Brophy. “All imported Irish malt (MCI), alcohol up to 5.5% from 5.0%, British yeast strain and new hop bill.”

Brewed with real four-leaf clovers, our Lucky SOB Irish Red was made for those of us who curse those blessed sons of bitches. It pours a rich ruby hue and has notes of toast, caramel, and subtle citrus hop bitterness.

IBUs: 28
Specialty Malts: Irish Pale Ale, Crystal
Hops: Galaxy, Falconers Flight

The beer debuted on draft two years ago.
