(Butte, MT) – Quarry Brewing posted this message to its Facebook page on Friday…

So I usually leave posting to everyone else in the company but there comes a time when I must share information, so here we go. I just received an email from the director of the Montana brewers association. There was a bill that was put forward that would only allow tap rooms to sell 10% yes 10% of annual production. We were lucky enough that when our director talked to the the Rep. he pulled the billed and then shared that it was requested by the MTA. I know that not all bar owners believe we are the devil. I hope that we provide a good quality product made locally using local ingrediants and spend 80% of everything we make within 300 miles. I would spend more locally but we can’t get local hops and local specialty grain.
This is why I need everyones help. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR LEGISLATOR and let them know how you feel about your craft brewery and the others in the state. We are under attack for being who we are a neighbor, a friend, and a local business.
please contact them and let them know how You feel about Quarry Brewing also let your friends know, it is only with your help we will survive.
