The hosts briefly talked to Longmont, Colorado, Plant Manager, Jim Weatherwax, who has been keeping tabs on progress in the newly-opened Brevard, North Carolina, location.

How long does it take to make Dale’s Pale Ale from start to finish? Exactly four weeks. The company brewed the first production batch of Dale’s on December 12th and Weatherwax says it is due to be canned this Wednesday.

Co-Host, Chris Katechis, who works for Oskar Blues in sales, says that the company has hired approximately 15 people for the Brevard production facility so far with potential to hire another 20-30 people. If the company is able to open its Brevard restaurant in the coming year, that would be another 40 people or so, Katechis says.

He also revealed that the company recently purchased equipment from the now-defunct Del Norte Brewery in Colorado and Craigie Brewing in Asheville.
