New Belgium’s construction plans in Asheville conditionally approved by council
Neighborhood leaders met Thursday with city officials and New Belgium representatives, including Jay Richardson, the newly named general manager of the Asheville brewery, and promised to work together to address residents’ worries about the trucks. Construction plans for the Colorado-based brewer’s $175 million beer-making operation on Craven Street were approved on a 4-2 vote Wednesday night.
