Goose Island Brewpubs brewmaster leaving to start new Chicago brewery
After three years of honing such creativity at Goose, Rouben resigned this week to start his own brewery. Though it doesn’t have a name yet, Rouben said he is closing in on a space that will include a tap room and hopes to be producing beer by the end of 2013. His last day at Goose will be in mid-January.

Doesn’t surprise me. I imagine it has something to do with GI being owned by AB-Inbev
The brewpubs were not part of the A-B InBev purchase.
I am sure it has something with him wanting to own his own brewery! He is uber talented! I can’t wait to taste his beer!
