Germany’s beer production drops to lowest rate in over two decades

Germany’s Federal Statistics Office said the country’s beer brewing has reached its lowest point in more than two decades. The office said the country produced 2.55 billion gallons of beer in 2012, the lowest since 1990 and nearly 2 percent less than in 2011, The Local.de reported Wednesday.
