Foothills Brewing update: Jade IPA 22s, Cottonwood Low Down Brown 6-packs

Foothills Seeing Double IPA(Winston-Salem, NC) – Foothills Brewing shared some news regarding 22 oz. bombers in its Wednesday newsletter in addition to a Sexual Chocolate Imperial Stout release update.

Just a reminder: even if you don’t have time to stay for a beer or a meal, you can always visit the pub to get beer for the house. Our beer cooler is stocked and ready with the widest selection of Foothills, Carolina, and Cottonwood beer you can find anywhere.

Available in 22oz bombers: Seeing Double IPA, Hoppyum IPA, Torch Pilsner, Carolina Blonde, Cottonwood Endo, People’s Porter, and Bourbon Barrel Aged People’s Porter (limited supply).

Cottonwood Low Down American Brown AleAvailable in 22 oz bombers later this year: Jade IPA (also limited supply).

Available in 6-packs now: Hoppyum IPA, Torch Pilsner, People’s Porter, Carolina Blonde, Cottonwood Endo, and Carolina Strawberry.

Available in 6-packs later this month: Cottonwood Low Down Brown.

The response to our Jade IPA has been anything but, well, jaded. BeerAdvocate ranked it a 96, and many of you have taken to Twitter, Facebook and Untapp’d to share your passion for this latest IPA creation from Foothills.

What makes Jade so special? It’s the hops the beer’s named after… Pacific Jade hops are a relatively new varietal, first produced in 2004 and grown only in New Zealand (where there are no indigenous hop diseases). They’re known for their citrusy, peppery notes and are versatile enough to be used in all kinds of beer styles.

Jade will (hopefully) soon be available in 22-oz. bombers– but ‘til then it’s available at the pub, so come try it and see what all the buzz is about!
