Asheville City Council to review New Belgium plans on Tuesday
City Council is scheduled to consider New Belgium Brewing’s plans for a brewery on Craven Street at its meeting Tuesday. The Colorado-based brewer wants to build a 205,737-square-foot brewery and distribution center on property just to the west of the French Broad River. City Council approval is needed because of the size of the project.
A council committee recently approved the plans, pushing the plan to a full committee vote.
