(Rosedale, MD) – According to a rep with DuClaw Brewing, the company’s custom BrauKon brewhouse, new tanks and other brewing equipment just shipped from Europe.
The company signed a lease in Rosedale earlier this fall for a 55,000 square-foot facility where the equipment will be delivered. The expansion project could mean beer being shipped to new states like New York, New Jersey and North Carolina for the first time.
In other news this week, the company hinted at a beer being released on December 12th. Per a recent newsletter, “This classic, 6.5% abv Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter is filled with rich flavors and aromas of roasted malt, chocolate, and peanut butter that last from first sip to smooth, dry finish. One sip and you will exclaim the name!”
BeerPulse confirmed that beer, a past winner of the H.E.R.O. Homebrew Competition, is returning in the form of 12 oz. bottles and draft year-round.
Those who caught a sneak peek of the recent label approval for DuClaw Sweet Baby Jesus! Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter can put two and two together.
I was worried when I tried (and fell in love with) the 2011 H.E.R.O. and it was disappearing off the shelves that I’d never get to have it again, I’m glad its going to be year round now

What are the consequences for peanut allergic beer drinkers? Any danger of cross-contamination with other beers?

Sweet Baby Jesus is made with a peanut-free flavoring that is safe for those with allergies
Where can I buy sweet baby Jesus beer in Massachusetts or New Hampshire
I don’t believe that the brewery distributes to either state.
