Redhook Double Black Stout returns after multi-year hiatus

Redhook Double Black Stout(Woodinville, WA) – It is Redhook Ale Brewery’s most highly-rated beer on RateBeer and as of this past week, it is back.

Redhook Double Black Stout is returning in both 22 oz. bottles and kegs as part of the Blueline Series that the brewery re-introduced in 2011. Double Black Stout, itself, hasn’t been released since late fall of 2008. Before that, the beer hadn’t been released since 2000.

The Blueline Series of beers are only available in the Pacific Northwest.

Description from the brewery:

“This time around, Redhook has teamed up with Seattle’s Caffe Vita to brew a beer so dark, nobody will know what’s really in your mug. Like Caffe Vita’s Pulcinella, Redhook is into brewing up some mischief. That’s how Redhook knew he found the perfect partner to bring back Double Black Stout. A robust stout brewed with Famr Direct Caffe Vita coffee, roasted and caramel malts, and plenty of hops for a rich creamy brew.”
