With the end of the Mayan calendar, and possibly the world, quickly approaching, the crew at Newport Storm wanted to go bigger than they’ve ever gone… just in case…

So, we’ve created a beer that, like the world may very well do, goes out with a bang. Hoping we still have many years of beer drinking enjoyment ahead of us, as an ode to the Mayan gods, we created “The ’12!”

In honor of the Mayan calendar, the brewers looked to that region for inspiration and native ingredients, such as Blue Agave, Flaked Corn (maize), Cocoa nibs, Chipotle and Habanero peppers!

The dynamic of the soft and hot flavors is a fun way to enjoy what may very well be the last beer you ever taste. Brewmaster, Derek Luke says, “Proceed sampling with caution!”
