(Lincoln, CA) – In lieu of direct comment from Knee Deep Brewing (which BeerPulse sought yesterday before posting anything), the company posted a string of tweets on Sunday as a response to the internet chatter that arose over the past 48 hours. The buzz stemmed from Lagunitas Brewing owner, Tony Magee’s, tweets regarding how similar the brewery’s two IPA labels were and what, if anything, should be done about it. Indications from Knee Deep are that the two companies will be able to resolve the matter in a “satisfactory” way. Magee, in turn, posted on Sunday afternoon that he has posted his last tweet.
Coming from Knee Deep, we feel this is not a big deal and has been blown way out of proportion.
