Untappd will unveil their C2CT2 beer badge in honor the single largest one-day celebration in the nation of Belgian beer and the portfolio of Vanberg & DeWulf. “Untappd is all about sharing a love of beer and continuing exploration, and so we regard them as natural partners.”   Says Vanberg & DeWulf co-founder, Wendy Littlefield. ”We are extremely excited to be partnering with Vanberg & DeWulf. Thursday, November 15^th is the day (and night) of the Coast to Coast Toast ™. An estimated 450 bars, restaurants and shops across America will feature Vanberg & DeWulf beers and raise a toast to the importer that has, more than any other, been singularly dedicated to building Belgian beer connoisseurship in the USA. To find the beers and the hosts for the events, people need only consult the Vanberg & DeWulf and Untappd sites.

Much hoopla surrounds the launch of a new badge at Untappd.  So leading up to the party…and starting November 1st, the C2CT2 badge can only be earned by “checking in” with 2 Vanberg & DeWulf beers. Badge-earners have the option to be entered into a drawing to win a free round-trip flight to Belgium, aka Beer Mecca plus some great Belgian swag courtesy of Visit Flanders. The drawing ends on December 1^st.

The Coast to Coast Toast ™ is at once an anniversary party and a salute to the people and places that have built our great beer culture. Participants span two generations of craft beer advocates – uniting early adopters and more recently minted “Heroes of the Good Beer Movement”  tm alike.

This year the party leaps the big pond with legendary publicans joining in to acknowledge the contribution that Vanberg & DeWulf and the breweries they champion have made to international beer culture. Jean Hummler’s Moeder Lambic kicks off the C2CT2 in Brussels (twinned with Church Key) with a total tap takeover. The Anchor & The Swan in South East England, run by legendary publican Mark Dorber is UK HQ, The revered, La Capsule near Brasserie Castelain in Lille is command central in France and is twinned with Memphis Taproom in Philadelphia where genuine Belgian burgers will be baked. More international venues are to be revealed in the coming two weeks.
