Yeah – that would make it the furthest south brewery. Peter Schnebly has been producing very unique wine out of his Redlands location for years now and turned his attention to builing a brewery on the site last year. Since then Peter has been working and perfecting recipes. Launch time has arrived and Gold Coast Beverage is locked and loaded with the first release – Big Rod Golden Blonde Ale. See the tasting notes below for details but the ale has a South Florida distinctive taste profile with hints of coconut, vanilla and caramel. I suggest you take a ride down to the property. Ask for Peter or Mauricio – they will want to meet you and brag about their property, wine and beer. The grounds are absolutely awesome – koi ponds, coral reef, 35,000 sq feet of tiki huts, bands on weekends, wine, four beers on tap – really a beautiful property.
