Destihl to open production brewery this winter
Destihl Restaurant & Brew Works, with locations in Champaign and Normal, announced this week it will open a 20,000-square-foot production brewery at 1616 General Electric Road, Bloomington. Destihl plans to self-distribute its beers throughout central Illinois once the production brewery is operating. The company will initially sell its beers in kegs and then eventually cans and bottles as the project is phased in. Production at the new facility is expected to begin in about three months.
