Pateros Creek postpones mobile canning after quality issues arise
The brewery planned to fill 140 cans with Cache La Porter and Old Town Ale, 70 16-ounce cans of each beer, and sell four-packs of the beers in Fort Collins and Loveland liquor stores. But temperature and carbon dioxide level issues in the first canning attempt resulted in a lost barrel of beer and postponement of canning until Saturday, said Pateros Creek co-owner and brewer Steve Jones.
