G. Schneider & Sohn launches label changes for 140th anniversary

G. Schneider and Sohn logo(Kelheim, GERMANY) – G. Schneider & Sohn sent out a note regarding new packaging design on Wednesday.

2012 is G. Schneider & Sohn’s 140th anniversary and there’s a lot to celebrate. The big news this year is the label change that takes effect as of August 1st. Having created two new beers in the past two years, and with more to come, Georg Schneider VI knew that he would need new labels and was looking for a fresh take on the old designs. Drawing inspiration from the beers themselves, Georg hand painted the new labels to reflect their unique styles, while uniting them with a clean white background. No more mistaking Aventinus as its own brewery.

In a year that has seen the release of two new beers, the Nelson Sauvin and Barrique, we can’t wait to see what brewmaster Hans-Peter Drexler and Georg have in store for us in 2013.
