So, been wondering how Flying Fish is making out at the money pit, err, new brewery? Well, we’re trying to get everything just exactly perfect. The brewing area is pretty much a go except for the occasional motor snafu. On the packaging side we doing the final tie-in for all the automation–lots and lots of machinery that we hadn’t had before.
The solar panels are now generating power and the rain garden has survived the onslaught of deer and woodchucks. We’re now moving to working on the front of the building. Licensing should be done soon and we’ll be ready to start producing OktoberFish. That’s the plan–check back next month to see how we did!
Above is a picture of what the brewing process will look like on the new system.
