(Placentia, CA) – The Bruery sent another email yesterday regarding an upcoming new beer release, White Chocolate. Haven’t confirmed though one could surmise that if Reserve Society members don’t buy all of these up, whatever remains would go on sale to the public.

Dear Reserve Society member,
And the mystery beer is…. WHITE CHOCOLATE!
Everyone will be receiving a bottle of White Chocolate as a part of their membership and you have the opportunity this month to purchase 6 more bottles for yourself as well as up to 10 bottles of our award winning Oude Tart!
Read below for more info and make sure you log on and get your allocations before time runs out.
The following beers will be for sale between today and July 30th via society.thebruery.com
White Chocolate
6 Bottle Limit – $30/bottle ($25.50 after RS discount)
The primary component of our “White Oak” ale is a 100% barrel aged wheat wine that we affectionately refer to as “White Oak Sap.” Essentially a “summer” barley-wine style ale, but made with a wheat heavy grain base, White Oak Sap is aged in used bourbon barrels for nearly a year and comes out rich in flavors of coconut, honey, caramel and vanilla. To compliment the already rich flavors of the beer, we’ve added cacao nibs and vanilla beans to give this beer the delicate flavor of white chocolate…hence the name.
14% ABV, Cellarable for up to 5 years
Oude Tart
10 Bottle Limit – $20/bottle ($17 after RS discount)
Oude Tart is our take on a Flanders Style red ale. It has won back to back gold medals in that category at the World Beer Cup (2010 & 2012) as well as a gold medal at the Great American Beer Festival in 2010. This sour red ale ages in oak barrels for anywhere from 6 to 18 months before being carefully blended to taste. The resulting beer is pleasantly sour with hints of leather, dark fruit and toasty oak.
7.5% ABV, Cellarable for up to 5 years
