Organization says beer stein lawsuit is “frivolous”
A federal lawsuit claiming $70 beer steins that Musikfest marketed as "handcrafted in Germany" were actually made in China is "frivolous and without merit," the festival’s attorney said Friday. In a written statement, attorney Patrick Reilly said the festival’s parent organization, ArtsQuest, would never mislead customers and that an allegation of a 2,500 percent retail markup on the Musikfest souvenir is "false."
