(Boston, MA) – Harpoon Brewery received label approval for Czernobog Imperial Stout within the past week. The beer will join the Leviathan Series in November.

Named after the ancient god of darkness, Leviathan Czernobog is a tribute to the hardy stouts originally brewed in England for shipment to the frigid Baltic. With notes of unsweetened chocolate, molasses, and dark fruit, this Russian Imperial Stout will withstand the darked of winters.

Czernobog will follow Baltic Porter which makes its return in August.

The Leviathan Series is available in 12 oz. bottle 4-packs and on draft.
