Evolution Craft Brewing hopes to lift Maryland barrelage limit
The move from Delaware to Maryland, however, meant a production ceiling of 22,500 barrels per year, while the company could have brewed 1 million to 2 million barrels per year in Delaware. Even though the brothers say Evo hasn’t reached that limit yet, they hope to work with state lawmakers during the 2013 session of the Maryland General Assembly to pass a law allowing their class of microbrewery to produce up to 2 million barrels per year.
