Crabtree Brewing founder pessmistic on chances of small brewers’ tax relief bill
(Crabtree) is bearish on the prospects of the legislation going anywhere. “I would love it but I’m skeptical,” he said. “Why would you lower the excise tax for alcohol at all, in an economy struggling as it is? This is a cash cow. Why would you cut off the leg of a cash cow? You don’t.”
