Cans rejuvenate Midnight Sun Brewing sales
Aware of what happened with Midnight Sun Brewing Company when they added Kodiak Brown Ale and Snowshoe White to Sockeye Red in the can lineup, I recounted a conversation with Midnight Sun co-owner Mark Staples. “Kodiak Brown and Snowshoe White did great on draft, but pretty much ‘okay’ in our 22-ounce bottles,” he said. “When we put them in cans, they started flying off the shelves and we haven’t been able to keep them in stock anywhere yet. They are in constant, full-on demand.”

Not surprising versus 22oz bottle, which are a very niche product. Comparing to six-packs of bottles would likely be negligible.
I’m personally a bigger fan of the 12oz bottle / can or 16oz can format. I tend to avoid bombers when I can, because it’s usually more than I want of the beer.
