Blowtorch used in making of Short’s Thundeur Black Ale
For the beer, Short’s quality control specialist Tyler Glaze, who lived in Southern California before moving to Michigan, and Short’s "Beer Liberator" Jon Wojtowicz used an "enormous blowtorch" to set Jeffrey Pine needles, sticks, twigs and cones on fire. They added the charred elements during the brewing process.
