The Bruery Tart of Darkness, Otiose, Sans Pagaie available this weekend

The Bruery Tart of Darkness Sour Stout(Placentia, CA) – Here is the latest from The Bruery tasting room newsletter…

If you love your sours, this weekend we have something for everyone. Friday night we are going to kick things off right with the re-release of one of our favorite beers: Tart of Darkness. We brewed that 5.6% ABV stout last year as a Provisions Series beer and liked it so much we decided we needed to bring it back!

Tart of Darkness was aged along with our special blend of souring bacterias and wild yeasts in used bourbon barrels that previously housed Black Tuesday and our other strong ales. The result is a perfectly tart yet awesomely dark and roasty sour stout.

Friday we will also be pouring Otiose, our 8.2% ABV dark sour with guava, and we’ll be pouring Sans Pagaie, our 5.8% ABV sour blonde with cherries, all weekend long. Those beers won’t be around for long, so if sours are your thing make sure not to miss out on your chance at some fantastic sour brew.
