Portsmouth Brewery, The Alchemist collaborate on Squidgy Black
A new beer we’re particularly excited about is a collaboration brew with John Kimmich, brewer/owner of The Alchemist. Squidgy Black will be a 5% stout with lots of late boil hops and copious dry hopping, balanced out by oats and lactose. It will only be available at Portsmouth Brewery and at Vermont Brewers Fest. Over the next month, and a half, you can expect to see the return of Wild Thang, a pale ale brewed with wild rice and Sterling hops, the first of several summer Hefeweizen appearances, a simple Saison and internet beer geek favorite Coffee Milk Stout. July 4th weekend brings our annual red, white and blue tapping of Murphy’s Law Red Ale, Belgian Wit and Bluebeery.
