But growth has to happen one step at a time, Buttera said, and in the new facility, his goal is 4,500 barrels this year. “We were in a really, really small brewery before,” he said. “Now this is giving us a chance to get a lot better.” Buttera already has purchased a plot of land next to the new (leased) brewery with an eye toward a building a 10,000-barrel brewery within five years or so.
