(Chelsea, MA) – Mystic Brewery announced a couple upcoming summer bottle releases on its website this week.

Saison Renaud is a single-hop, single-malt Saison showcasing Mystic’s house Belgian yeast, Renaud. The beer features all pilsner malt and only Saaz hops. Just in time for the warmer weather, Saison Renaud is a bright, dry and refreshing Saison. After its debut at the American Craft Beer Fest, Saison Renaud will be available on draught at bars and restaurants in the area starting in early June, and in bottles to follow.
The next two beers debuting are slated as future Mystic Brewery releases, Saison Asterisk and Flor Ventus, and are both a part of Mystic’s extensive barrel program. Saison Asterisk, the next barrel-aged release, is a rustic farmhouse ale aged in bourbon-barrels. The last beer, Flor Ventus is a ‘young wild ale’ that is aromatic and slightly tart, and originating from a Belgian lambic culture independently cultured by Mystic Brewery in french oak barrels. Saison Asterisk will be available in bottles later this summer, and stay tuned for future wild ale releases from Mystic Brewery in the months and years to come.
