Boston Beer adds fermentation capacity to Cincinnati plant
Sam Adams currently employs about 100 people at the 128,500-square-foot brewery, which is the primary source of most of its specialty and lower-volume products, according to its 10-K annual report. The company expects to invest between $40 million and $60 million in 2012 on its breweries and additional kegs to support its growth. The company also has a larger brewery outside Allentown, Pa., and a smaller brewery in Boston.
