Flying Dog update: International Arms Race and Single Hop beers
Flying Dog brewmaster Matt Brophy stops by to discuss International Arms Race, their zero IBU IPA collaboration with Brew Dog. We get into the challenges of brewing in a world without hops, how they hooked up with the extreme Scottish brewers for this unusual project, and some details about exciting upcoming beers coming out of Frederick.
A couple bits of note… 1) distribution for IAR is expected to be as far north as NYC, as far south as VA, and as far west as Pittsburgh 2) Each of the Brewhouse Rarities are around 100bbl in production. 3) They’re releasing six Single Hop beers this year, three of which will see bottles.
