(San Leandro, CA) – In addition to announcing Alpha Session in bottles, Drake’s Brewing provided a brief update on expansion and future bottles.

Last month’s progress included moving and installing two new 80 barrel tanks and two 60 barrel tanks into our large new cellar, decimating the old floors in the brewhouse, laying new drainage systems, and constructing a floor pad for our new 20 barrel boil kettle and brew deck.

Moving forward, toward the end of this month or early May we expect possibly our most exciting addition yet to arrive- our own full scale bottling line. Our new bottling system will allow us to meet increasing demand, as well as give us the ability to bottle more styles that have heretofore been available on draft only. This system will bring our first bottling of Alpha Session, year-round bottles of our Black Robusto Porter (coming later this year), and even supplies of our rare, barrel-aged beers hopefully by the end of 2012.
