Burlington Beer Co. hopes to launch later this year
With the Burlington Beer Co., Lemnah said he hopes to support local farms and educate the community through beer-making classes. Lemnah is also launching what he thinks is Vermont’s first community supported brewing endeavor. Working much like community supported agriculture (CSA) offered by farmers, consumers pay $200 and receive 13 specialty beers for the entire year.
CSA concept…not a bad idea for how to bring a story/brand to market and make a little money up-front. Oh, and he somehow brewed a beer inside a pumpkin.
Breweries: Burlington Beer Co.
New brew pub opening in Burlington? Glad to hear it, but not sure why this is national beer news worthy….
Here’s a link to the two batches of Pumpkin beer I fermented inside a pumpkin. http://www.hopfentreader.com/2009/10/ferment-o-lantern.html
