BeerPulse reported last October that Bear Republic was halting distribution in four markets: Missouri, Kansas, Central Pennsylvania and Oklahoma. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch’s Evan Benn reports today that the company will return to all but Oklahoma:
Beers from California-based Bear Republic Brewing Co. will return soon to Missouri and two other states that the brewery pulled out of late last year. (Brewery Spokesman, Clay) Grosskopf estimated about six weeks until the new orders begin to show up here — sometime in June, if not earlier.
Oklahoma-based Red Dirt Beverage is Bear Republic’s distribution partner in the Sooner State. A representative confirmed that there have been no recent discussions between the two companies though they would like to make a return to Oklahoma happen.
