Astoria Brewing opening second brewery in Oregon, adding cans (video)
Astoria Brewing is opening a second brewery in Oregon according to Brewmaster, John Dalgren. Dalgren says JV Northwest is working on custom systems for a local supplier (didn’t quite catch the name) that is outfitting a 15-barrel system for them. The brewery will add 12 oz. cans (courtesy of Cask Systems) to its packaging mix and will use environmentally-friendly / biodegradable six-pack rings. Opening is currently slated for end of summer barring delays.
