Ah, March 17th, a day that makes even the un-Irish a little Irish. As you celebrate St. Patrick’s day with green regalia, coddle, colcannon, cabbage and soda bread, be sure to incorporate one of the most important beverages ever: The Black Magic. Simply procure some Magic Hat #9 and some heady Irish stout. Fill a glass halfway with #9, then ever so gently add the stout over top, perhaps using a spoon to diffuse the flow. If done correctly, you’ll have a beautiful bi-layered beverage we call a Black Magic.
