The inaugural brew of the Zymaster Series, California Lager, is an attempt to re-create the first true lagers brewed in California. Brewed from the finest California barley, Cluster hops—the premier hop variety in 19th–century California—lager yeast, and water, Zymaster Series No. 1: California Lager is, quite simply, re-discovered gold.
