Yuengling and three distributors caught in litigious mega love triangle

Yuengling, based in Pottsville, sued All Star in December in Schuylkill County Common Pleas Court. In late December, All Star countered by suing Yuengling in Berks County Common Pleas Court. That case also named Gretz Beverage Montco Inc., a distributor in Norristown, to the suit. All Star contends Yuengling was in secret negotiations to transfer the Yuengling distribution agreement to Gretz, according to court documents filed by All Star. Among other issues, All Star’s suit seeks to have the court order force Yuengling to approve of the merger and for Yuengling to transfer its distribution agreement with All Star to Origlio.
