Bell’s Black Note Stout bottles going for 6x the brewery’s price on eBay
Nine bottles of Bell’s Black Note Stout have been sold on eBay in the past few days with an average sale price of $139. That is just over 6x or ~500% markup on top of what Bell’s Brewery sold it for this past weekend, $23. At 750ml or 25.4 fl. ounces per bottle, bidders have paid nearly $5.50 per ounce on average. There are nineteen listings up with the highest current bid at $112.50.

Why are breweries not pricing these items higher?
Yikes. Isn’t $23 enough though for a 750 mil??
The real question is…why do people think a 6 pack of beer is worth $100+??
