Cases of 2011 Bourbon County Brand Coffee Stout — a stout brewed with Intelligentsia coffee and aged in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels — started leaving the brewery late Monday, which means drinkers can expect them on Chicago-area shelves Thursday or Friday, I’m told. Interest will be fierce, so to make yourself and your favorite beer store less agitated, I suggest calling first.
Another batch of regular Bourbon County Stout will join the debut of Bramble Rye BCS on shelves sometime next month.
