2011 Highlights:
– Launching the Backstage Series–putting our beer into 750mL bottles for the first time
– Opening a company store on-site
– A new deli kitchen, expanded taproom space, and updated sound system for our live shows
– A new bottling line, new kegging line, new brewhouse, new bright tanks, new fermenters, and new building space (a –
– 50,000 square foot expansion) to house all of it
– Distributing our beer in two new states: Vermont and Alabama
– Growing our Founders Family by adding new employees to all departments
– Overall, FBC grew 53% over 2010
2012 Preview:
– All Day IPA Session Ale, the first addition to our year-round lineup in six years, beginning on February 6 in the following markets: Michigan, Ohio, North Carolina, and the greater Chicago area.
– KBS (Kentucky Breakfast Stout) Release Day set for March 10th [typically 3/15 at retail but wait and see]
– 3 new Backstage Series beers (including Better Half–the other two have not been announced yet)
– Increased production: the same world-class beers with higher levels of availability
– Potential to open a few new markets, which we’ll announce on our website and social media networks
