Sierra Nevada in doubt for Black Mountain after interchange is nixed
The company requested an interchange at Blue Ridge Road and Interstate 40. The Black Mountain town board asked the state to build it in hopes of luring the business but, it was not approved by the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
In the video on WLOS, the Black Mountain mayor says that Sierra Nevada “really needed it.” A different location in Buncombe County, NC, is still in play according to reports.

i bet if it was down east they would of approved it….
The PA location would love to have Sierra Nevada consider it again, and it’s right next to I-99 and I-80 🙂
