Over 400 people line up by 5am for 10:30am Captain Lawrence release
Pretty crazy numbers for this morning’s Captain Lawrence release. Technically, not everyone lined up. Many came by, grabbed tickets from the ticket counter and then left to return later. Others camped out before midnight making a night of it.
Not a whole lot of talk about it on Beer Advocate though there is a lot of criticism pouring down in the RateBeer thread.

They lined up at 2:00 am in Athens, Ohio for Jackie O’s 6th anniversary barrel-aged beer sale that began a11:00 am Saturday. The beers were incredibly fun.
numbered tickets get handed out at 2:30am and you can leave and come back at 11. No one was stading outside for 9 hours at Jackie O’s.
