Epic Brewing, Utah’s premier full strength brewer of fine Ales and Lagers is set to release yet another beer. The latest beer in the “Exponential Series” is Double Skull Doppelbock brewed from only four traditional ingredients: malt, hops, water and true lager yeast. The beer is malt driven and true to style with a dark brown color and packs a nice wallop for a lager, coming in at around 7.5% ABV. Epic’s Brewmaster Kevin Crompton says “this beer style was invented by Franciscan Monks to be consumed as “liquid bread;” it is rich, sweet, and malty with a low hop level and some alcohol present.”
