Sierra Nevada says no to Tennessee’s Blount County
“Blount County is no longer under consideration for the Sierra Nevada project,” the release states. “We appreciate the interest the brewing company had in operating a plant in Blount County and understand their reasons for not locating here. The relationships established between Sierra Nevada and the state of Tennessee and county and city officials remain strong. […]”
There has been no mention of other potential Tennessee locations in news reports. Asheville is the only rumored location that remains though Sierra Nevada has publicly contended that several locations are still being considered.

Ive heard that Asheville is only being considered providing that New Belgium does not start up there.
