(Boston, MA) – Boston Beer Co. debuted the Small Batch Series earlier this fall. A recent label application indicates that a fifth beer, Cinder Bock Rauchbock, is joining the series next year (and perhaps more?). Though the application was technically ‘surrendered’ before it was approved, as we saw with Dogfish Head 75 Minute recently, these labels eventually get approved (typically with minor changes). A name change or something more substantial is always possible though.

Yesterday’s report on the January Brewers’ Choice Variety Pack noted that Boston Beer will make another Small Batch beer available on tap for the first time, Tasman Red IPA.
