Founders Brewing expanding distribution to Alabama, Vermont
Founders Brewing just sent out word in today’s newsletter that it will expand distribution to both Alabama and Vermont this month.
Brewing capacity per turn just expanded nearly 4x per turn, making it possible.
A Founders rep also noted on Facebook that, “It’s looking like next year right now,” when asked about a return to South Carolina.

Once again another brewery skips over TN.
Does the expansion mean their Backstage series will be easier to obtain in states like Ohio? Somehow I doubt it.
Probably depends on whether they involve barrels. Fermentation tank capacity is quicker to scale up than barrel capacity.
As a Michigander currently in VT, I couldn’t be happier about this.
Oh great, now it will be even more difficult to get some Backstage, KBS, Backwoods Bastard, Harvest, Devil Dancer and Imperial Stout.
So much for the rumors of Founders coming to Texas after expansion is completed. AL, really?
